New Sunday School Class

NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS!

A new Sunday School Class will begin meeting on Sunday, March 7.  The class will be taught by Kathy Carter and will meet in Room 201 in the Educational Building.  The class is for anyone who is interested, both singles and couples.  Please join us to hear the Lord’s Word through fellowship on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m.  For more information, call Kathy at 770—748-0745.

New on 03/02/2010 Congratulations

03/02/2010 -

Congratulations to Our Own Ahren Lee who was recently named Cedartown High School Teacher of the Month of January, 2010!  Ahren, an English Teacher at CHS, was elected by her peers and has been teaching for ten years.  She is a Graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Education.  Ahren received her Master’s Degree in Education from the Jacksonville State University.  She is the wife of David Lee and the mother of two precious daughters, Lindsey age 6, and Edy age 4.  We are so proud of you, Ahren, and you are a source of blessing to our High School, our Community, and our Church.

New on 03/02/2010 Women's Bible Study

On the Book of Ephesians will begin this Sunday night, March 7 at the home of Julie Peek Dawson.  The study, led by Suzanne Byrd, will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will last for six weeks.  All women are invited to attend.  Bring your Bible and a friend!

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN CORNER

Are sponsoring Our Intercessory Prayer Ministry.  The purpose of this ministry is to bring together a church-wide group of men and women committed to regular prayer for our Church, community, nation, world, and personal concerns.  Our Intercessory Prayer Ministry will meet every Wednesday morning in the Sanctuary at 10:00 a.m.  The first meeting will be Wednesday morning, March 17.
