Murphy-Harpst Annual Day of Giving

Sunday, July 18, is designated as Murphy-Harpst Annual Day of Giving.  This is the first ever North Georgia conference-wide special offering for Murphy-Harpst Children’s Centers and is, for us, another opportunity to support Murphy-Harpst and the good work that is done there.  Murphy-Harpst, a ministry of the United Methodist Church, provides therapeutic services for Georgia’s most severely abused children.  For many of these children, Murphy-Harpst is their last hope.  Your contributions will help Murphy-Harpst help these children.

Polk Habitat Project

07/09/2010 -

We encourage you to participate in our Polk Habitat Project, "Buy a Brick, Build a Home".  For $20.00 per brick, your name will be placed on the brick "house" located on the College Street side of the church parking lot.  These funds will be used to further our efforts to build a Habitat home in Polk County in 2011.  Please contact Karen Nissen at 770-748-7233 for more information, or send your donations (and the name you wish to place on the brick)  to Habitat for Humanity c/o Kresge United Methodist Church, 15 Booger Hollow Road, Cedartown, GA 30125.
